"Better Sound Than Most I’ve Tried"
The sound quality surprised me. Compared to a lot of other speakers I’ve heard around this price, this one is much clearer and the bass actually has a nice kick without sounding muddy

I went to The Light recently the screen quality was just okay. The picture was clear most of the time, but during some of the darker scenes it looked a bit flat and dull. The screen size itself was fine, so I wouldn’t really complain about that, but for the price I definitely thought it would look sharper. I also had that slightly trapped feeling once the film started, like I was stuck just accepting a so-so viewing experience because I’d already paid and settled in. It wasn’t a bad visit overall, just not especially impressive. I’d probably go again if it was the easiest option, but I do think the screen quality could be better.

"Fresh Food, Nice Drinks"
The food was actually fresh and the drinks were nice, which is apparently a high bar these days. Overall, a solid experience.
"Seats were really uncomfortable"
I went to The Light and the seats kind of ruined the whole thing for me. They felt hard and awkward after about 20 minutes with barely any support so I kept shifting around all through the film. For what cinema tickets cost now I expected better. I don’t think I’ll be rushing back.

The venue was spotless, and the toilets were really clean too, which I always appreciate. I was genuinely happy with the experience and would definitely consider going back.

I had to wait in the queue longer than I expected, which was a little frustrating. Once I finally got through, the staff were fine and helped me out. It was not a bad experience, just slower than I would have liked

"Parking was such a hassle"
I spent way too long driving around trying to find parking nearby and just couldn’t make it work. Maybe I came at a bad time, or maybe I missed a lot somewhere, I don’t know. Either way, I ended up leaving annoyed.
"Decent membership, but I thought it would feel a bit more rewarding"
I signed up for the membership mostly because I visit regularly and figured the loyalty perks would make it worth it over time. It’s not bad, and there have definitely been a few offers that came in handy, especially when I was already planning to go anyway. That said, the points and rewards seem to build up slower than I expected, so it doesn’t always feel like I’m getting much back for how often I stop in. Overall, it’s perfectly fine and I’ll probably keep using it, but I do wish the perks felt a little more generous or noticeable for regular customers.

"Fine place, just a bit awkward to get to"
The place itself was okay, no major complaints there, but the location just didn’t really work for me. It felt a bit out of the way, especially if you don’t drive, and even though public transport was technically fine, I still had to walk a bit after, which made it feel less convenient. Parking was a bit of a faff too, somehow, even though I wasn’t fully relying on it. Maybe it wouldn’t bother other people, but for me it made the whole visit more annoying than it probably needed to be

Overall, it was a nice place and I had a good time. The food and drinks just felt a little expensive for what you get, maybe more than I was expecting. I’d probably still go back, but next time I might eat beforehand and just grab a drink or two.

"Could be more screen reader friendly"
Just a heads up for anyone using a screen reader: I found the site hard to get through. The menus felt a bit messy, and checkout took way longer than it should have. Better labels on buttons and sections would really help. I’d recommend giving yourself extra time if you’re ordering here, and hopefully the site improves accessibility soon.

"Surprisingly decent showtimes"
There were actually plenty of films to choose from, and the showtimes worked well for me, which was a nice change from having to plan my entire day around one awkward screening.

"Customer service felt slower than most"
I had to follow up a few times about my order, and the replies took longer than I’m used to with other companies. When they did get back to me, the responses felt a bit generic, like a copy-paste answer, and didn’t really fix much right away. The light itself turned out fine in the end, but compared to other places I’ve ordered from, the customer service made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be. Not awful, just not great.
"Frustrating experience with crashes and no confirmation"
To be fair, I really wanted this to work, but the app kept crashing and ended up wasting quite a bit of my time. After all that, I still didn’t get a confirmation email, which made the whole thing feel unreliable. I think it’s reasonable to expect a smoother process and at least some kind of confirmation when you finish.

"Super easy booking and smooth on the day"
I booked our cinema tickets on my phone and it was really straightforward. Picking seats was simple, and I liked that I could clearly see which ones were available before paying. The confirmation email came through almost instantly, which was reassuring. I went with the kids, and when we arrived, getting in was hassle-free with no confusion at the door. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and everything felt well organised. Definitely a nice, easy experience and I’d happily book this way again.

"One of the lights arrived with a…"
One of the lights arrived with a mark on it, which was a bit frustrating after waiting in for the delivery. I emailed them about it and, to be fair, the whole process was really easy. They got back to me quickly, kept me updated, and were polite throughout. It took a couple of days for the replacement to be sent out, but the complaint was handled well and without any fuss. Not perfect, but I’m happy with how they dealt with it...

"Fair Prices and No Nonsense"
I was pleasantly surprised by the ticket prices, especially since it was for a weekend. Booking was really straightforward, and I appreciated that there weren’t a bunch of random extra fees suddenly added at the end. It just felt fair, which is kind of the decent thing to do for customers.

I went to The Light last weekend and the screen room was actually really comfortable. It wasn’t stuffy or boiling like some cinemas can be, and the seating area felt fresh enough that it was easy to just settle in and enjoy the film.
The only thing I noticed was that it got a bit chilly towards the end, which was slightly annoying, but not a big deal at all. I’d still happily go back.
